Green Day concert

Green Day has been to Norway and to Oslo several times, and now the band is coming once again. In 2025, Green Day is coming to Oslo and will be the main attraction at the Tons of Rock festival located at the popular Ekebergsletta outside the center of Oslo.

This is a very popular festival that has been visited by bands such as KISS, Iron Maiden, Alice Cooper, Metallica, and Def Leppard earlier. Throughout the four days of the festival, it is visited by more than 80,000 people. You can read more about Tons of Rock right here.

Green Day is an American rock band formed in 1987 in California. The band is made up of three members: Billie Joe Armstrong (lead singer and guitarist), Mike Dirnt (bass player), and Tré Cool (drummer). Green Day became famous in the 1990s with their album “Dookie”, which brought punk rock music to a wider audience.

Their music is known for its energetic style, catchy melodies, and lyrics that often talk about teenage life, personal struggles, and social issues. Some of their most popular songs include “Basket Case”, “American Idiot”, and “Wake Me Up When September Ends”. Over the years, Green Day has won many awards and continues to be one of the most influential punk rock bands in the world.
